Preparatory work for participants:

Review our SEND U onboarding process for new ADs/MDs. Please read through this process, and we will discuss how it applies to you at the boot camp.
Do a DiSC self-assessment called Everything DiSC Work of Leaders. It focuses on leadership for a group. It will help you learn your leadership style and your top three leadership priorities (vision, alignment, and execution) and how your personality profile impacts these three. Ken has sent you a link to this assessment.
Do a free Strengths test if you have not done the StrengthsFinder test in the past.
Do a self-assessment based on the AD profile. The AD/MD profile is a one-page description of the skills and character traits of an ideal area/ministry director in SEND International. None of the field leaders match this description perfectly. It is not a description of qualifications needed to become an AD but rather a description of the areas we want to develop. This profile gives both you some targets for growth and development.

Print out your self-assessments and bring them with you to the first session on Monday, May 28.

- Microsoft Teams > free with SEND's O365. Chat, online meetings, integrated with Planner and other Microsoft Office products. A great way to work collaboratively online.
- Microsoft Planner > free with SEND's O365. Task management for teams. Makes it easy to assign tasks and track completion by various team members.
- Google Calendar > works well with tools like Calendly and Doodle to plan meetings.
- Evernote: used by many in SEND to organize notes, projects, and to-do lists.
- Toodledo > free web-based to-do list. Works well with GTD system (Getting Things Done)
