Title of Session: Introduction to Church Planting

Description:
This session introduces various roles for church planters, and shows the strengths and weaknesses of each. It also introduces a couple of different models for church planting, including the six phases of church planting and church planting movements. The importance of reproduction in church planting is emphasized throughout.
Objectives:
- Participants will discuss the relative strengths and weaknesses of the different church planter roles and identify which role fits their context best
- Participants will review the 6 church planting phases and develop ideas for how the DNA of reproduction could be encouraged at each phase
- Participants will compare church planting movements to the six phase approach.
