This session introduces various roles for church planters, and shows the strengths and weaknesses of each. It also introduces a couple of different models for church planting, including the six phases of church planting and church planting movements. The importance of reproduction in church planting is emphasized throughout.

1. Participants will discuss the relative strengths and weaknesses of the different church planter roles and identify which role fits their context best
2. Participants will review the 6 church planting phases and develop ideas for how the DNA of reproduction could be encouraged at each phase
3. Participants will compare church planting movements to the six phase approach.
