The process of adjustment to life in a new culture can be challenging. Understanding the process and its components makes it a bit more predictable and easier to negotiate successfully. What are some common misunderstandings about this process? This session presents several models, including the “ABC’s of Acculturation” to give learners tools for making a smoother transition.
