Team Skills
Northern Ministry Training Guide
Overview: The missionary will seek to fit into the local ministry team made up of local leaders and other missionaries. Humble acceptance of assigned role and commitment to team success are foundational. New members of a team will begin as learners and respect the spiritual gifts of others. Loving, open communication is characteristic of healthy teams. Each team member will understand their team role and responsibilities (team prayer, meetings, coordination, etc). All team members will understand the unique role and limitations of bi-vocational missionaries on the team. Also, team members will recognize the value of non-SEND team members within their region (ie. other ministries, churches, and church leaders). Each missionary will recognize the importance of both their local team and the entire SEND North team and their unique role within each.
